Graham Cracker Toffee

Easy 5-ingredient toffee bars full of caramel, pecans, and chocolate! If you love turtle candy bars, then you will love these. Your guests will be "WOW-ed" with this tasty treat --- perfect for the holiday season.


Ingredients:

  • 12 full size graham crackers

  • 1 cup salted butter

  • ½ cup granulated sugar

  • 1 cup chopped pecans

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips


Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Break graham crackers into fourths. Line a rimmed cookie sheet with crackers. Melt butter and sugar in a pan over medium high heat. Bring to a boil, then remove immediately and pour over crackers. Sprinkle with nuts.


2. Bake for 12-15 minutes. Remove from oven and transfer to parchment paper or a silicone mat; scooping each graham cracker individually. This will ensure that the pieces don't stick to each other!


3. Melt the chocolate by microwaving in 30-second intervals and mixing until completely melted. Spoon chocolate over each cracker. Allow to set. Store in airtight container.
