Green Smoothie

My favorite green smoothie full of veggies and fruit to help you feel great! This tastes fresh and slightly sweet and gives you a natural energy boost.


CUCUMBERS: a great source of Vitamin C, K, beta-carotene, and molybdenum. They are full of phytonutrients that provide antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anticancer benefits

SPINACH: an excellent source of Vitamin K, magnesium, calcium, and phosphorus. Helps boost energy, maintain good vision, prevents heart disease and cancer, and boosts your immune system

LEMONS: a natural diuretic with cleansing and detox properties. It's high in Vitamin C, citric acid, magnesium, and calcium, all of which give the immune system a boost

CELERY: is loaded with antioxidants., potassium, and calcium. Supports weight loss, improves digestion, lowers cholesterol, promotes healing, reduces bloating

APPLES: a good source of Vitamin C and fiber. Full of antioxidants, and can help benefit a person's mental health


Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cucumber

  • handful of fresh spinach

  • squeeze of a lemon

  • 2 ribs celery

  • 1/2 cup applesauce


Directions:

1. Gather all your ingredients, and roughly chop the celery and cucumbers.


2. Add the cucumbers, spinach, and lemon juice to your blender and pulse for 20-30 seconds.


3. Add the celery and applesauce. Pulse until smooth. Enjoy!


NOTE: If the smoothie is too thick, add a splash of water. If you want it sweeter, add in more applesauce or some raw honey.
